Highlights for international conference and incentive groups

GRAND LISBOA
The new hotel's lotus shape means many rooms offer unique features such as outdoor terraces, saunas or over-sized living areas. Raul Azevedo, managing director of SmallWorld Experience, says: “Grand Lisboa has one of the most luxuriously decorated ballrooms in Macau. Its unique diamond shape, ceiling height and AV equipment allowed us to create a unique and extravagant ambiance. The banquet staff helped us execute a complex programme involving 80 people across five teams for a three-hour event staged in ten-minute blocks, all while food was being served.”

MACAU FISHERMAN'S WHARF
This 111,500 sqm venue is five minutes' walk from the Macau Ferry Terminal and Heliport. “We organised an incentive trip for Hagemeyer Australia at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf for 960 people,” says Les Alford, manager – conferences and events, Incentive House Australia. “The entertainment included a toga party in a Roman amphitheatre, a rock ‘n’ roll evening and a 17-piece orchestra. “Macau is culturally rewarding and has some excellent infrastructure to create diverse events.” Full-day meeting packages begin at US$60 per person and include AV equipment and internet access. Add a welcome dinner for US$42 per person.
