Hotel and industry appointments from around the region

Christophe Pairaud has been appointed general manager of Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport. Pairaud has held executive positions with Accor in Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and China.

Amadeo Zarzosa has been appointed general manager of St. Regis Singapore. Zarzosa has more than 30 years’ experience in the hotel industry and was most recently general manager of Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai.

Pierre Barthes has been appointed general manager of Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur. Barthes will replace Jonas Schuermann, who has been appointed general manager of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.

Torsten Dressler has been appointed general manager of Kempinski Hotel Shenzhen. Dressler has been with Kempinski since 1998.

Patrick Moukarzel has been appointed general manager of The Chedi Chiang Mai, Thailand. Moukarzel was previously hotel manager of The Yamu Phuket.

Charles-Henri Chevet has been appointed general manager of Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort, Cambodia. Chevet has also worked in Vietnam and China, most recently as hotel manager at Sofitel Shanghai Hyland.

Belinda Goh has been appointed director of sales and marketing at Sheraton Sanya Resort.

Albert Lafuente has been appointed director of sales and marketing at The Saujana in Kuala Lumpur.
