Experiential marketing spend tipped to rise

HONG KONG A new global survey of 400 international marketers reveals that they intend to increase their spending on experiential marketing over the next 12 months.

The survey, conducted by global experiential marketing agency Jack Morton, showed that 85% of marketers planned to maintain or increase their spend on experiential marketing as a percentage of the overall marketing budget, while 44% said they will increase their spend.

Josh McCall, chairman and CEO of Jack Morton, said: “The fact that marketers are so committed to maintaining and even increasing their experiential spend right now is great proof of Adelson says the new resort will open in early 2010 how effective they think it is for
achieving both short-term and long-term goals.

“Whether live, online or both, experiential gives them a way to generate sales and leads now and to build stakeholder relationships for the future.”

The survey is available for download at jackmorton.com/takeaway/downloads.
