The Appointment Group (TAG) Asia-Pacific celebrated its first year of operation in Singapore this week, with a cocktail event in the heart of the CBD.

Celebrating a successful 12 months in Singapore—the agency's first Asia outpost—TAG managing director in APAC, Shane Barr, and event director, Vicky Hartley, invited corporate clients and partners to the newly opened Hotel Oasia in Tanjong Pagar, where guests were welcomed with cocktails and canapés at the hotel's rooftop sky garden.

At the event Barr shared details of TAG’s first year in Singapore as well as the agency's plans for the Asia-Pacific region.

“TAG’s first year in Singapore has seen great growth," Barr says. "Our investment in Singapore and the entire Asia Pacific region is a very important piece of our global growth strategy.

"We have set ourselves some very aspirational targets for 2017 in Singapore and with the continued support of our valued clients, suppliers and additional partners, we are confident we will achieve them.”

Barr went on to highlight TAG’s global travel and event management proposition, which included access to competitive airfares and hotel rate programmes, as well as the agency's dedicated in-house 24-hour emergency service.

Barr says the team is looking forward to working closely with new and exisiting clients in the APAC region in the coming year, and ensuring all travel and event needs are delivered to an exceptionally high standard.
