Many of the integrated resort’s offerings—such as its theatre, restaurants, and museum—are flexible, ideal locations for enhancing what makes tailored events so special in the first place.

Marina Bay Sands’ Broadway-style theatre acts as a particularly unique venue—where smaller groups are treated to a backstage tour to meet the current show’s cast. Meanwhile the Sands Sky Park, located on the 57th floor, houses the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool, customisable for events, alongside restaurant Cé La Vi. On the same level, Wolfgang Puck’s Spago restaurant provides a memorable setting for intimate cocktail parties.

Bespoke experiences for small groups can be tailored to any groups’ specific requirements, offering personal touch in one of Singapore’s most renowned locations.

“We can organise a range of experiences, from sunrise yoga sessions to cycling activities,” says Mike Lee, vice president of sales at Marina Bay Sands. “And as a venue that invests in sustainability, we can introduce CSR elements within events too.”

Dining with the stars

Lee went on to explain that, when it comes to VIP dining experiences, there are some hotels in the world housing a couple of famous restaurants, but Marina Bay Sands is the only with multiple celebrity chef restaurants under one roof.

“Everyone has a ballroom, everyone has a banquet menu, but we offer more than 80 dining options on property, ten of which are helmed by celebrity chefs including Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali and Gordon Ramsay. Groups can use these restaurants to create a bespoke experience that can be hosted in one or all ten of them.”


Marina Bay Sands has also developed their own celebrity Dine Around Programme, where smaller groups can hop from restaurant to restaurant, savouring a course at each.

Lee added: “Delegates can customise everything from the menu, number of restaurants to visit in one evening, to the length of time spent at each restaurant. This enables groups to taste multiple award-winning flavours by the various celebrity chefs in a single night.”

According to Christopher Christie, executive chef at Marina Bay Sands, organisers also have the flexibility to bring the celebrity chef dining experiences to other event spaces on property, including the Sands Expo and Convention Centre or even ArtScience Museum. He went on to detail the integrated resort’s hosting of the 2016 Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) opening gala night, where his team worked with db Bistro & Oyster Bar to create a tailor-made canapés menu served at the post-event VIP party.

While Marina Bay Sands’ size and reputation are undoubtedly large, the integrated resort’s commitment to customisation and intimacy is evident. Christie explains: “If we know prior that there will be some very high level personnel attending a specific event and that the F&B is an important component of the event, I personally sit down with the organiser to discuss the menu and explore creative ways to further elevate the experience for the event.”
