Event agency Auditoire has been appointed to plan and manage this year’s Singapore Night Festival, set to kick off next month from August 18 to 26.

Owned by Singapore’s National Heritage Board, the annual street festival celebrates the arts and Singapore's rich cultural heritage with light art installations and a series of theatrical events.

Auditoire Asia managing director, Antoine Gouin, says the agency’s creative strategy secured the win amid stiff competition from several agencies.

Gouin attributes the win to “our truly creative approach and power in giving the festival a new dimension. We always try to do things differently, in a unique and innovative way so we can leave [attendees] with an unforgettable experience”.

The festival, Singapore’s largest outdoor performing arts event, will also allow the Shanghai-based agency to expand its reach into Southeast Asia.

“This project is for Auditoire a great opportunity to show that we can bring our creativity and expertise in delivering real experiences to the entire Asia Pacific Region,” Gouin adds.


Singapore Night Festival director, Angelita Teo, says: “We are looking forward to working with Auditoire on the 10th edition of the Singapore Night Festival.

They have a strong portfolio and have demonstrated creativity and drive in doing the best for the festival.”

Auditoire recently opened hubs in Hong Kong and Singapore and has plans for further expansion across the region.

“We are already expanding. Our hubs in Hong Kong and Singapore are just the starting points for an even greater expansion,” Gouin says.

“Our main objective for the next coming years is to be able to spread our creativity wider and wider and become a creative leader in the event industry in the Asia Pacific.”
