Facility improves sea access to China and Macau
HONG KONG A new cross-border ferry terminal has opened at Hong Kong International Airport. SkyPier comprises eight berths capable of handling eight million passengers annually.
The terminal is a four-minute walk from the main airport and will serve as a gateway for passengers travelling to and from southern China.
High-speed ferries will travel between Hong Kong and eight port cities including Shenzhen, Skypier replaces the temporary facility in use since 2003. ![]()
