About Cambodia
Cambodia is bound by Laos in the northeast, by Vietnam to the east and southeast, by Thailand in the west and northwest, and by the Gulf of Thailand in the southwest. Over 50 per cent of Cambodia is covered in
forests.

Although the country has gone through some very difficult times, the feeling is that it is on the right track to economic recovery. There is a lot of major construction work, improvements and clean-ups happening in the main cities, including the construction of new hotels and holiday resorts.

Last year, nearly two million tourists visited Cambodia, with its
stunning temples, including Angkor Wat, and beautiful beaches being among the most popular places to see. The Khmer people, who make up more than 95 per cent of Cambodia’s population, are said to be some of the friendliest and most gentle people.

Cambodia is receiving greater recognition for its MICE facilities.
International standard hotels with modern conference facilities in a
world-heritage destination, make it a suitable venue for successful
business events and pleasurable business holidays. Flights to the
destination are available with a number of airlines.
