Perth City Centre is located alongside the peaceful waters of the Swan River, 20 Kilometres inland of the Indian Ocean on the West Coast of Australia. The city is bound by the river to the east and south. To the west of the city is Kings Park, which has over 400 hectares of natural Australian bush overlooking the city centre and the Swan River. The view from King's park is quite unique and is a must for any.

The City is experiencing substantial growth in terms of inner-city living, development and industry, servicing 100,000 daily visitors and workers in addition to its 15,000 inner-city residents. The City of Perth is a major provider of free entertainment for the 1.6 million people in the metropolitan area and is the premiere destination for business, entertainment, nightlife, culture and the arts.

The Perth city centre bustles with activity and offers a range of choices for shopping. Perth also has a number of locations which jump into life, especially at the weekends. Just outside the city centre is the district of Northbridge with a range of nightclubs, pubs, cafes and eateries, offering an eclectic mix of cultures and cuisines. South of Perth in Fremantle there are more local nightclubs and bars.
