Regional delegation enjoys conference amid nature

Lufthansa City Centre’s partners in Asia Pacific wanted to organise a corporate meeting. Most delegates were well travelled top achievers with high expectations of quality accommodation and services. The client wanted a hotel with a good combination of business and leisure facilities. Delegates were from all over Asia so there were some unexpected challenges with visas.

After checking into the hotel, delegates were warmly welcomed with an opening night reception at Albatross Café. On the second day, delegates networked and relaxed by the meeting room near the beachfront. In the evening, the group enjoyed a dine-around dinner by ferry, which was sponsored by Laguna Phuket Hotels.

On day three the group explored the island and enjoyed an excursion to Phang Nga Bay. Delegates discovered the landscapes of Phang Nga at Panak, James Bond Island and Leaning Island. The group explored mangrove swamps and sailed through two caves – Tham Lot Noi and Tham Lot Yai – with their impressive stalactites. A Thai set lunch was served at Ko Panyi Village, where 400 houses are built on stilts in the shallow water.
