Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) soft-opened in preparation for the 19th Asean Summit in November last year, and now has a major international event under its belt. Although purpose-built for the summit, the venue is fully available for corporate and association events of up to 4,400 people. It is located opposite the existing Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) and within easy reach of the area’s hotels and entertainment facilities.
Big spaces
The venue covers 70,000 sqm and the total floor space is 25,000 sqm. The ground-level Nusa Dua Hall divides into five rooms seating 270 to 2,200 respectively or 4,400 theatre style when combined. There is also 2,000 sqm of pre-function space in the lobby. Jimbaran Café is adjacent to this.
Singaraja Hall on the first floor served as the media room during the summit and seats 1,700 theatre style. It is fully equipped with simultaneous translation and high-quality sound and AV systems. Cocktail receptions, barbeques and other events can be held in the open-air courtyard, Taman Jepun.
Supporting rooms
The seven Uluwatu meeting rooms are adjacent to the main hall and seat 100-240 people theatre style. There is also a VIP room and two executive rooms seating 70 theatre style.The mezzanine can be accessed via escalator and offers eight Kintamani meeting rooms seating 48 to 260 people. The Seminyak Lounge sits alongside and can be used for breaks and informal meetings. The meeting rooms all offer ceiling heights of at least three metres and are fully equipped with modern meeting facilities.
