Walt Disney Parks and Resorts’ has promoted Aliana Ho to vice-president of Asia-Pacific regional sales and travel operations, The Walt Disney Company (Asia Pacific). Aliana will lead the regional team, Hong Kong sales and distribution marketing team, and work with the upcoming Shanghai Disney Resort team. Terrence Wang will replace Ho as vice-president of sales and distribution marketing for Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and will also oversee the Disney Reservation Center.
Adrian Stoppe has been appointed director of food and beverage at the Andaman Langkawi. Stoppe is the former director of food and beverage at Marriott Resort & Spa Hua Hin.
Movenpick has appointed Mark Muller vice-president of sales and marketing, Asia.
Marc de Beer has been appointed general manager of Hilton Beijing Wangfujing.
Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort in Penang has appointed Elaine Yu as general manager.
Swire Hotels has promoted Dean Winter to the newly created role of area general manager, Hong Kong. Winter will continue in his current position as general manager of the Upper House. Marcel Thoma has also been promoted to hotel manager here. Elsewhere in Swire, Jennifer Cheung has been promoted to hotel manager at EAST. Cheung is the former director of sales and marketing for the hotel.
Catherine Racsko has been appointed general manager of Sheraton Nha Trang in Vietnam. Racksowas most recently held the same position at Le Méridien She Shan Shanghai.
Michel Chertouh has been appointed general manager of Crowne Plaza West Hanoi Hotel & Residences.
Christian Sack has joined Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, in Siem Reap as general manager. Sack was most recently resident manager at Shangri-La Tokyo.
Michael Bourne has been appointed general manager of Hilton Sydney. Bourne has previously served as general manager of Melbourne South Wharf, Hilton Brisbane and Hilton Melbourne Airport.
Krister Svensson has joined St. Regis Bangkok as general manager. Svensson was most recently overseeing W Hong Kong, where he has been replaced by former Westin Fuzhou general manager, Peter Hildebrand.
