Bali is full of spa facilities, but not all are suitable for corporate groups. These select venues offer world-class facilities, well-trained therapists, top products, a wide range of treatments and each has something special to make it stand out.

Top-shelf extras
Thermes Marins Bali at Ayana Resort and Spa is an amazing venue for spa sessions that wow. The facility is huge yet unimposing, with 40 treatment rooms and plenty of extras. Its Aquatonic jet pool is the world’s largest, containing 700 million litres of seawater fresh from the surrounding Indian Ocean. The statute-lined pool floats up to 60 delegates through a series of 12 hydromassage stations, all while enjoying a panoramic ocean view. The jets, micro-bubbles and geysers of seawater combine to relax and rehabilitate. A two-hour session is US$59 per person, which can be upgraded to include a 25-minute aqua-aerobic exercise session (US$105) or underwater massage (US$131). For tiered incentives, there are two Bali on the Rocks pavilions that will have top achievers glowing.

Lagoon Spa at Laguna Resort and Spa, Nusa Dua (pictured top) is a seven-room spa facility with flexible hours – sessions can be held from 9am until midnight. Its private outdoor courtyard features a Jacuzzi, jet-stream waterfalls, plunge pools, sauna and Kneipp walk-through aqua therapy course. Along with the expected treatments, offerings here take a culinary turn with a chocolate and herb facial, chocolate wrap and body bath. There is also a papaya-based fruit mask and the Kelapa scrubs are blended with green tea, local herbs or coffee.

Spacious facilities
Jiwa Spa at Conrad Bali is centred around a 25-metre pool. There are 17 treatment rooms, including two pool pavilions and five garden pavilions. These offer open-air terraces for spa dining and day beds for pre- and post-treatment unwinding. Signature treatments include the Ocean Flow Massage ($88 for one hour).

Kriya at Grand Hyatt Bali is a 24-villa water palace set amid tropical gardens. Treatments are based on the four Balinese healing rituals of harmony, purity, energy and bliss and integrate the practices of Hindu, Jamua and Ayurveda. Take advantage of the offerings with half- and full-day Kriya Signature Spa Rituals, which start at two hours for $160 per delegate. Rituals begin with a sea salt foot soak and Chakra stimulation, and end with a macrobiotic fruit and vegetable blend to be enjoyed in the spa villa.
