The brief
DICE is an exclusive business and social networking event for members from various Chambers of
Commerce in Macau, Hong Kong and Guangdong. It includes a conference on ecology, followed by a cocktail reception.
Challenges
As the event invited guests from different job sectors and regions across the Pearl River Delta, it was a challenge to make sure that all guests arrived in time.
Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 worked with the key members from the different chambers of commerce to ensure that the set up, menu and accommodation fits the requirements from the different parties.
Execution
The event was held at the Baccara multi-function room and began with a welcome speech by Niu Jing, director general of the Administrative Committee of Hengqin Area Planning. This was followed by a conference on ‘Urban planning in the Pearl River Delta’. After the conference a cocktail reception held at the poolside, where guests mingled and shared ideas on environmental topics, as well as news on the urban developments in the Pearl River Delta region.
