Michael Chiay, managing director for MCI Hong Kong, says that having celebrity chef Alain Ducasse as part of the brand helps enhance an event. “If Alain Ducasse is in Hong Kong at the same time, you can request for him to make an appearance at your event,” says Chiay. “Alternatively, we have held events where every delegate received a personally signed copy of his cookbook. Something like this makes a dinner stand out, as it provides an experience that goes beyond the food.”
