SYDNEY Joyce DiMascio has been appointed general manager of the Exhibition and Events Association of Australasia (EEAA), which represents organisers, venues and suppliers throughout the region.
DiMascio is charged with building a stronger voice for the sector and representing member interests in advocating for exhibitions as an important part of the marketing mix.
“EEAA provides valuable services to its member community – each year it delivers a range of programmes and initiatives that promote professionalism, recognise excellence and build a community for those who work in the sector,” she said.
“I look forward to building the organisation and lifting the profile of the exhibition sector as it helps to drive sales, build brands and generate growth.”
DiMascio most recently served as the head of Business Events Australia.
