SINGAPORE One of Singapore’s leading trade shows, CommunicAsia, is moving to Sands Expo & Convention Center, while BroadcastAsia will run concurrently at Suntec Singapore.
With the theme of ‘Shaping Vision, Creating Reality’, CommunicAsia 2011 will see many first-time exhibitors and new group pavilions from South Korea, Thailand and Sri Lanka. “The presence of larger numbers of industry stakeholders bodes well for potential business deals taking place during the event,” said Victor Wong, project director of communications events with show organiser, Singapore Exhibition Services (SES).
The exhibition will feature a ‘first’ in specialised Techzones to create a one-stop experience for visitors. Two zones will have group related companies focused on next generation networks (NGN) and promote the latest technologies. NGN also features strongly at the CommunicAsia Summit.
Lindy Wee, SES director of PR and conferences, said: “Asia is at an important crossroad today, and discussions at these tracks and valuable insights offered will have important implications on businesses and consumers alike.”
BroadcastAsia 2011 at Suntec Singapore will also have an exhibition and international conference. The conference will feature 80 of the world’s leading broadcast professionals, driving discussions on seven broad topics shaping the future of TV.
