BANGKOK Reed Tradex has signed a three-year deal with the Bangkok Trade Exhibition and Convention Centre (Bitec) to continue as the venue for its annual Manufacturing Expo until 2013.
Duangdej Yuaikwarmdee, deputy managing director, Reed Tradex, said: “The expo is a major event for the automotive industry, electronics and industrial parts. It has grown 30% year-on-year and will use Bitec’s full exhibition space. We already have advance bookings for 25% of the space for the 2012 edition.”
Bitec will soon open a welcome hall and air-conditioned link to the new adjacent BTS Skytrain station, which itself opens in mid-August.
