SHANGHAI International business events will be the focus of the inaugural China International Meetings and Conferences Forum in Shanghai this April.
The event is being organised by Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration (SMTA) and will help to grow the city’s business events credentials after it successfully hosted World Expo 2010.
Patrick Chen, deputy director of SMTA, said: “The Forum will tell international MICE buyers about development trends in China and improve the professional standards of the local meetings industry here.”
Industry professionals from both international and domestic associations such as ICCA, SITE, MPI and the Chinese Medical Association (CMA) will be on hand to share their knowledge and experiences with participants.
The Forum will be held at Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai from April 12-13.
