TAIPEI Taiwan has revealed ambitious plans to grow MICE arrivals to 450,000 visitors per year, which includes 200,000 incentive travellers.
Also on the agenda is MICE training, accreditation and better integration of government resources to strengthen capacity. The government predicts it will generate US$83 billion in revenue for Taiwan.
Between 2009 and 2011, US$70 million has been invested in the business events industry there largely under the direction of Meet Taiwan.
