MACAU DOC DMC has acquired local events specialist SmallWorld Experience, allowing the company to offer a broader range of services without disrupting core business activities.
Bruno Simões, CEO of DOC DMC, said: “We specialise in destination management, meeting planning and conference organisation. SmallWorld Experience’s expertise lies in teambuilding, special experiences and managing events like award ceremonies and gala dinners.”
A major investment bank took advantage of their new offerings for its recent three-day regional conference. The 110-person group attended meetings, dinners and tours and took part in a territory-wide group challenge.
“Before DOC DMC would outsource these types of activities, but now we can manage all aspects in-house,” said Simões.
“To ensure quality we will keep the two companies working independently.”
