HONG KONG Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) has had its most successful financial year to date.
The 2009-10 fiscal year that ended June 30 saw operating revenues increase 21% year-on-year to reach US$129 million. The total number of events held at the centre reached 1,185.
HKCEC managing director Cliff Wallace, said: “We benefit from our extraordinary client base plus an enthusiastic and experienced staff. The Centre continues to be a benchmark that venues strive for throughout Asia.”
Operating revenues from 110 exhibitions accounted for US$85 million in revenue, while F&B contributed US$44 million.
