BEIJING China’s conference and incentive industry has received a boost with the successful hosting of the China Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings (CIBTM) trade show in Beijing from August 31 to September 2.
CIBTM was held at China National Convention Center (CNCC) and featured a wide range of local and international exhibitors, and a largely Chinese contingent of hosted buyers.
Hosted buyer Lai Ying, manager of Zhejiang China International Travel Service, said: “It’s my first time here. The dedicated three-day business platform taught me a lot about running a MICE business. The two seminars held in the morning impressed me and helped widen my knowledge of the MICE industry. I would like to return next year.”
CIBTM 2011 will be held from August 30 to September 1, also at CNCC.
