THE VENETIAN
The Venetian is Macau’s largest business events venue and a convenient choice for organisers seeking an all-in-one event location. This was best highlighted during IIFA 2009 last September, a mega-sized Bollywood event usually hosted by cities.

“The facilities at the Venetian are best-inclass,” says Sabbas Joseph, president of Wizcraft, organiser of the annual IIFA event. “The staff, technical resources, quality cuisine and feeling that anything is possible within this ‘city’ made IIFA 2009 a great success.”

Cotai Expo offers 75,000 sqm across two pillarless exhibition halls which can further divide into three. There is also the 15,000-seat Cotai Arena and 12,000 sqm of meeting space over three floors. This includes the 6,500 sqm Venetian Ballroom and seven large meeting spaces that divide into 92 rooms. A team of performers is on hand to entertain at cocktail receptions and gala dinners.

The Venetian offers 3,300 suites and is directly connected to the 360-room Four Seasons Macao. Across the Cotai Strip is the large City of Dreams complex, which houses Grand Hyatt, Crown and Hard Rock hotels.

MACAU TOWER
A great option for medium-sized groups, Macau Tower combines convention, banqueting and teambuilding in one location. The largest space is its Grand Hall, which seats 1,600 theatre style.

The banqueting hall seats 1,000 people, but smaller groups can head up to the sky-high revolving restaurant, 360 Cafe. AJ Hackett runs popular adventure teambuilding programmes here, including bungy jumping and skywalks.

Grand Lapa, Grand Lisboa, Mandarin Oriental, L’Arc, MGM Grand, Wynn and Wynn Encore are within a 10-minute drive.
