Tokyo’s international hotels offer spacious and contemporary guestrooms and well-planned meeting facilities equipped with the latest technology.
IMPRESSIVE VENUES
The first thing that strikes you at
Ritz-Carlton is the view. The hotel occupies the bottom three and top nine floors of Midtown Tower, and its 45th-floor lobby offers citywide views. Then there is the generous guestroom size, which starts at 59 sqm.
There is 1,100 sqm of first-class meeting space on the first two floors, including the Grand Ballroom, which seats 270 for banquets and opens onto a large terrace ideal for pre-dinner receptions. On the floor below there are five meeting rooms. The hotel’s large suites can be used for residential-style meetings and set-up for special requests. Full-day meeting packages start at US$287 per person including lunch and WiFi.
Grand Hyatt is located in the Roppongi Hills mixed-use development, which also contains an upmarket shopping mall and the Academyhills conference facility.
There are 389 guestrooms and suites that start from 42 sqm. All rooms offer flat-screen televisions in both the main area and bathroom, as well as DVD players and wireless access.
The hotel’s 2,800 sqm of function space is spread across three floors. The Grand Ballroom seats 1,200 theatre style and 600 for banquets. The floor below has five meeting rooms seating up to 300 people and a drawing room centred around a foyer and bar counter.
MEETING PACKAGES
Mandarin Oriental offers 179 guestrooms and suites, as well as flexible meeting spaces. There are 14 meeting rooms including a grand ballroom that seats 500 delegates theatre style.
Its full-day meeting package is US$265 per person and features a light breakfast, two coffee breaks, bento box or set-lunch, AV equipment and wireless internet access. Accommodation starts at US$450 per person. High-end incentive groups should try one of its three Michelin-starred restaurants.

The 200-room
Shangri-La is located above Tokyo Station. Its 27th floor is dedicated to business events and can be blocked off for groups of 150 people or more. The ballroom seats 273 people theatre style. A lounge, foyer and three meeting rooms all with natural light are available. Residential meeting packages start at US$667 per person, or US$828 including a two-hour cocktail reception. Daily delegates can join for US$299 per person.
ANA InterContinental Tokyo is a premier MICE hotel with 844 guestrooms and a ballroom seating 2,000 delegates theatre style. There are five banquet rooms adjacent and another nine on the floor above. Four meeting rooms and two hospitality suites are on the sixth floor, while its Sky Banquet rooms on the 37th floor can host 100 for receptions.
Full-day meeting packages start at US$154 per person. Its Summer Party Plan two-hour package is US$91 per person and includes a French or Chinese buffet, free-flow beverages, flowers and microphone.
Westin has 438 guestrooms and 12 meeting spaces including the Galaxy ballroom, which seats 520 for banquets, and the Star Junior ballroom, which seats 220. Its residential ‘Stay and Meet’ package starts at US$345 per person for single occupancy and is valid until September 15.
