Taking dim sum lessons in Hong Kong from a globally recognised master is an innovative way to build team spirit or reward staff for hard work.
Your group will spend an hour with Tsang Chiu King, executive chef of the hotel’s two Michelin-starred restaurant Ming Court.
Chef Tsang will guide the group through the basics of preparing siew mai (steamed pork dumplings), cheun guen (spring rolls) and other local dishes. His explanations are as legendary as his reputation and the experience is followed by a group lunch in Langham Place’s Ming Court restaurant.
The one-hour class costs US$1,290 for up to 12 people and includes a translator if necessary.

SHANGRI-LA SINGAPORE
Give your group some great memories of Singapore by teaching them how to cook two of the city’s iconic dishes – Singapore chilli crab and black pepper crab.
Shangri-La Singapore offers a 90-minute experience that covers everything your group needs to know about these dishes, conducted in its award-winning The Line restaurant.
