New opening…
Doubletree by Hilton has expanded into Malaysia with its new 540-room hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The property is part of a new mixed-use development on Jalan Ampang, a 10-minute walk from KLCC Convention Centre and KLCC Suria mall.
Meeting facilities are spread across almost 2,000 sqm on two floors. The main ballroom seats 1,000 theatre style. It is supported by four meeting rooms on the same level, and another four on the floor above. The main foyer opens out onto the poolside terrace.
There is also a significant F&B offering led by Makan Kitchen, which showcases a range of regional Malaysian cuisine from live cooking stations dotted throughout the 320-seat space.
Tosca serves Italian cuisine from an al fresco space along the pool.
