BEIJING South African Tourism has opened a new office in Beijing to tap China's rapidly expanding outbound MICE travel.

Bradley Brouwer, regional manager Asia Pacific, South Africa Tourism, said: "The new office will strengthen linkswith trade and acquire more cooperative measures to showcase the true beauty of South Africa to Chinese travellers."

He added: "We will hold trade workshops in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong this July, providing a platform for trade from both South Africa and China to share more updated information and resources."
