SINGAPORE ITB Asia 2010 will hold an Association Day from October 20-21. The day-and-a-half programme will include sessions on Future Trends: Asia & The Global Meetings Industry, How to Improve the Financial Outcomes of Your Meetings and Using Your Meetings to Promote the Growth of Your Association.
 
“Association Day is suitable for people who organise, influence or make financial decisions about meetings and conventions,” said Nino Gruettke, executive director of ITB Asia, which takes place October 20-22 at Suntec Singapore. “Association management companies and PCOs are welcome to attend on behalf of, or with, their clients.”
 
The programme is a collaboration between Messe Berlin, the American Society of Association Executives, the Center for Association Leadership, Ace:Daytons Direct and Suntec Singapore.
 
Nancy Tan, managing director of ACE: Daytons Direct, said: “I would like to see Asia’s professional conference organisers enhance standards and cooperate further to bring more association events to the region. Association Day at ITB Asia is an important step to help us achieve those goals.”
