SINGAPORE Nominations and entries have opened for the Singapore Experience Awards 2010. The second annual awards recognise outstanding contributions across four main categories: events, experience, marketing and media, and customer service.
Nominations can be submitted online by both trade professionals and the general public, and companies can submit entries on their own behalf.
In the events category, the awards look to recognise the best Association Conference, Trade Conference, Exhibition, Meeting and Leisure Event held in Singapore during 2009.
Award criteria cover the event concept, sponsorship and delegate promotion, and service excellence such as the use of innovative technology. Bonus points are awarded for events that demonstrate corporate social responsibility, have encouraged the audience to experience Singapore’s leisure offerings and/or enhanced the positioning of Singapore as a choice destination for business events.
In the experience category, awards are given for the best Business Event Venue Experience and Business Event Venue Service Experience, the latter of which is open to industry nominations only.
The judging panel comprises local and overseas representatives who are recognised professionals in their respective fields. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in the last quarter of 2010.
All entries and nominations must be submitted online by June 30, 2010.
