The basics…
The China Incentives Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (CIBTM) will be held over three days from August 31 to September 2 at China National Convention Centre in Beijing. The event is co-hosted and supported by China National Tourism Administration and Beijing Municipal Government, and is the only MICE trade show officially backed by the national government in China.
Exhibitors include Hong Kong Tourism Board, Korea Tourism Organization, Macau Government Tourist Office, Marriott and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau.
What’s new?
The launch of China Meetings Week from August 30 to September 3. This will introduce international buyers to business events opportunities from across China. Educational sessions will also reinforce this message as well as a conference conducted by Meetings Professionals International (MPI).
New exhibitors include Carlson Hotels, Silversea Cruises, Sanya Tourism Bureau, Meet Taiwan and China Luxury Travel Network.
Networking functions
The welcome reception is on August 31. On September 1, Beijing Tourism Administration will host an off-site gala dinner in partnership with CIBTM. Venue to be confirmed.
Hosted buyers
Hosted buyers are eligible for flights and accommodation, as well as potential pre- and post-touring options. Registrations are now open.
