The basics…
ADNEC is located in the US$2.3 billion Capital Centre district, 15km from the airport. It comprises 12 halls with 55,000 sqm of exhibition space, which can open into one continuous venue. Two conference rooms seating 400 and 800 people respectively, can also be divided for smaller events. There are 20 linked Capital Suites on the first floor, each capable of hosting meetings for 30 people.

There is also an 18,000 sqm concourse, food court and 6,000-space car park, and Starwood recently opened a 408-room Aloft on-site. The hotel includes a 1,500 sqm poolside garden for events.

What’s new?
Abu Dhabi Hall is a new auditorium in the former Hall 12 with retractable hydraulic seating for 5,700 people. The hall was used extensively during the World Future Energy Summit in January.

Also new is Marina Zone, a 19,500 sqm quayside development capable of hosting marine exhibitions and super yachts.

What’s next?
