Imagination appoints new CEO for Asia
New chief to oversee regional expansion

HONG KONG Experiential marketing specialist Imagination has appointed Mark Barrett as its new CEO for Asia Pacific.
The global agency is expanding its regional presence with offices opening in Shanghai and Singapore last year.
“Our aim is to be seen, in time, as a leader in brand strategy and communication through the region,” says Barrett. “And to continue to our unique approach to integration through digital, physical and virtual experiences.”
Barrett will be based at the Hong Kong office, which opened in 2002.
“Right now we are happy with our regional footprint of Australia, China, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, but maintain an interest in extending into India,” he says.
Imagination organises brand events for Ford worldwide, most recently its stands at the Bangkok and Beijing autoshows. Other major clients throughout Asia include Haier, Hewlett Packard, and Jaguar. In Australia they recently completed projects for Blackberry, Clinique and the Commonwealth Bank.
