The rebranded Padma Resort Bali at Legian is building a landscaped lagoon and its recently renovated room stock includes 128 deluxe rooms, 24 premier rooms and 22 lagoon access rooms. Its Wantilan Ballroom hold 700 theatre style and has recently hosted groups from Servier, Bank of Tokyo, Nissan, Unilever and Amway.
The 318-room Discovery Kartika Plaza on Kuta Beach has meeting space for up to 800 people. The five-star property in South Kuta is offering a full-day meeting package for US$45 per person. This includes use of meeting room, microphones, sound system and an Indonesian buffet lunch. There are extra charges for using breakout rooms ranging from US$150 to US$400 per day.

Meanwhile the Hard Rock Hotel Bali features piped rock music along its hallways and rock memorabilia in its 418 ‘tribute’ guestrooms.
Aside from the hotel’s bar, recording studio and live radio station, it has also released its new ‘Where Rockers Meet and Meetings Rock’ package, which for US$33 includes discounts at the hotel’s food and beverage outlets, a 50 per cent discount to record a company theme song in the Boom Box recording studio, as well as all normal meeting requirements.

Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana will open this year on Legian Beach, 20 minutes from the airport. It will feature 351 guestrooms that will be among the most modern on the island, as well as a meeting space for up to 300 delegates and two smaller meeting rooms for 40 people each.
Pan Pacific has entered into the Bali business events market by taking over the Le Meridien Nirwan Bali at Tanah Lot Temple. The resort’s new name is Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali and came into effect on April 1. The resort features 278 rooms and a championship 18-hole golf course, and remains unchanged for now.
