The brief
The summit brought together insurance companies and service providers for a two-day industry forum.

Challenges
Delegates were attending from many countries and organisers were keen for everyone to make the most of the networking breaks. Duxes brought in technical partner European Deluxe & Design Products (EDDP), a company specialising in wireless networking badges known as Badge2Match.

Execution
“Each badge stored information as to whether the delegate was an insurance provider or not,” says Martijn van Bruegel, managing director, EDDP. “When potential business partners moved within four metres of one another their badges flashed the same colour, signalling an appropriate match.”

The badges automatically switched into ‘sleep’ mode during seminars.
