Go there because…
This Anglo-Indian garden house in Penang dating back to the early 1800s is Malaysia’s only surviving Georgian Mansion. It recently reopened as a cultural arts centre available for corporate functions.
They say…
As one of the finest surviving examples of Georgian architecture in Asia, the venue provides a unique and elegant setting for groups.
We say…
The ballroom can hold 80 people for a banquet with food provided by its in-house restaurant catering team, or for larger groups the verandas can also be used for up to 200 guests. The house also offers a smaller room suitable for meetings of up to 34 people theatre style.
Groups can learn more about the house’s 200-year-old history on a guided tour as well as the battle to save it from collapse. Its operators plan to use the house to promote the benefits that heritage restoration can generate for the people of Malaysia.
Where is it…
Penang, Malaysia.
