The basics
The fourth installment of IT&CM China is themed “Bridging the Global MICE Business”, and will be held from 7 to 9 April at ShanghaiMart Expo.

China ranks third as the largest business travel market, behind the UK and the US. IT&CM China provides a strong platform for the country’s MICE industry to explore business opportunities, generate new sales leads and strengthen existing business partnerships.

What’s new?
Hangzhou Tourism Commission will host the show’s international buyers and media after the event. This tour is complimentary and open to all registered international buyers and media on a first-come-first-served basis.

A number of international exhibitors have also increased their space take up this year. These include Japan National Tourism Office, Korea Tourism Organization, Macau Government Tourist Office, Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong and the Millennium and Copthorne Hotel Group.

Networking functions
Social functions and special events will include pre and post-show city tours of Shanghai, an opening ceremony and welcome dinner, and hosted networking lunches throughout the three-day event.

Hosted buyers
The hosted buyer programme will select up to 250 Chinese and International buyers of incentive travel, conventions and meetings. The programme provides subsidised airfare and/or complimentary hotel accommodation for qualified buyers. It also arranges for buyers to meet exhibitors through pre-scheduled and on-site appointments, ensuring that both parties maximise their time during the show.

Buyers must first meet the organisers’ validation criteria before they are qualified and confirmed for the programme.
