Brief: organise a three-day two-night conference for 200 people with one outdoor beachside dinner

When delegates arrive courtesy of the hotel’s airport transfer, they are checked in and given a tropical welcome drink. Guests at the 297-room resort can choose suites ranging in size from the 52 sqm terrace rooms, to the 150 sqm private villas.

Host the conference in the 900 sqm Coral Bay Ballroom, just one of a selection of the hotel’s meeting spaces. As part of the ‘Meetings by Mandarin Oriental’ programme, a dedicated events manager will cater to clients’ requirements, to ensure the meeting is a unique and memorable event.

The state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment installed within the meeting rooms means delegates can experience seamless and smoothly run meetings. A special design concept of the resort has been to create a tropical green oasis surrounding the meetings area, providing a retreat for delegates to rest and recharge before the next meeting.

Pre-dinner drinks can be held in the resort’s 1,600 sqm landscaped gardens, where a variety of lively dance and music acts will entertain delegates prior to the beachside dinner.
