SINGAPORE The Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (Saceos) has unveiled its Strategic Plan 2020 for the MICE industry in Singapore.

The plan was the culmination of a four-month planning exercise. Summing up the association’s role, Saceos president Edward Liu said: “We must work with all strategic stakeholders, especially the Singapore Tourism Board, to help create an ecosystem to support and sustain the growth and development of the MICE industry in the challenging years ahead.”

Saceos has identified nine strategic initiatives it will tackle in the years ahead, including long-term growth enhancement, industry members’ profitability and competitiveness improvement, and capability and human capital development. Four sub-committees have been formed to implement the new initiatives and plans.
