Beijing is China’s political centre and a capital city with a population of 17 million people. It retains plenty of evidence of its royal past, with aristocratic parks, temples, and palaces, alongside the venues and facilities of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Nowhere else can you get a more concentrated impression of the old and new China. Today’s Beijing is modern, fashionable and full of vitality; fancy restaurants and bars, creative architecture, art galleries and amazing opera houses. All of these make Beijing intriguing as an incentive destination.

DAY ONE
Arrive in Beijing where your group is met by the local guide and transfer to Hilton Beijing Wangfujing Hotel.Welcome drink and buffet dinner at hotel.

DAY TWO
Morning tai chi workshop in the Temple of Heaven, followed by a visit to the temple to interact with the local people there. Local lunch, then spend the afternoon in Tiananmen Square – one of the largest city centre squares in the world. Next door is the Forbidden City, where 14 emperors of the Ming dynasty and ten emperors of the Qing dynasty reigned for 400 years. In the evening there is a Welcome Peking Duck Dinner at the 146-year-0ld Qianmen Quanjude Restaurant. Madame Yang, the fifth-generation descendant of the restaurant’s founder, will greet our group with a personal welcome.

DAY THREE
Morning bike ride from the hotel to a network of hutongs. A hutong is a unique form of community that exists only in China and the paths in between them are made up of small, winding alleyways between the city’s main roadways. The visit by rickshaw includes a Hutong family visit and tea ceremony at the historic Bell Tower.

Afterwards, lunch is at the famous Nanmen Hot Pot Restaurant. The afternoon visit to the Summer Palace includes a ferry ride and a cocktail party at Aman at Summer Palace. The evening is free for the delegates to enjoy dinner and an Acrobatic Show on own their own.



DAY FOUR
The morning is free for shopping at the Silk Market. The afternoon visit is to the National Stadium, also known as the Birds Nest, and National Aquatic Center, known as the Water Cube. Afterwards it is a trip to the Great Wall of China, a symbol of Chinese civilisation that has stood for more than 2,000 years. A farewell dinner will be held on the wall along with traditional entertainment.

DAY FIVE
Departure from Beijing. Transfer to airport for your group’s home flight.
