JW Marriott is offering its Room-and-Meeting package for US$258 per person until the end of the year for groups booking ten rooms or more.
The package includes accommodation, breakfast at Marriott Café and all-day meeting facilities with LCD projector, customised refreshment breaks and lunch. A 20 per cent discount on hotel F&B is also included. The hotel’s recently renovated meeting facilities now offer LCD signage, webcasting, videoconferencing and new tailor-made themed events. A new outside catering programme allows for professional off-site events at several locations, including on Victoria Harbour.
Renaissance Harbour View has a new overnight package for meetings during September and October. Delegates can stay in a Garden View Room for US$187 per person and enjoy complimentary Club Level access, which includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails in the Club Lounge.
VIP delegates can stay in a Studio Suite for US$451 and receive a welcome fruit platter and bottle of champagne. Rates are applicable to three-night minimum stays and there are some blackout dates.
OVERNIGHT OFFERING
In Kowloon,
The Mira has a special Meet and Greet overnight meeting package for US$194 per person for groups with a minimum of 15 rooms. During the meeting, internet access for ten users and an LCD projector is included. Rooms are also well-equipped with a ‘My Mobile’ phone, PC, Blu-Ray DVD player and WiFi. The package is valid until March 2010, with some blackout dates during October. Groups with more than 50 rooms and a minimum two-night stay will receive a complimentary one-hour cocktail reception.
The residential meeting package at
Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin is US$165 per person. Groups booking more than 30 rooms receive a complimentary upgrade to Harbour View rooms. The meeting can be held in the ballroom, salons or Regency Club meeting rooms and includes roll-in lunch, a buffet at Café or a Chinese menu at Sha Tin 18.
Extras include a welcome drink at Tin Tin bar, bicycles for the cycling paths along Tolo Harbour, discounts at Melo Spa and
a preferential rate for a poolside party or outdoor terrace barbecue dinner. The Regencyn Club meeting package is US$82 per person and includes a boardroom for 14 people in the Regency Club, an adjacent meeting room for breakouts, wireless internet and all-day access to the Regency Club Lounge.
Langham Place has introduced its Michelin Star Foodie Group Getaway package for US$166 per person for groups booking a minimum of ten rooms between December and March 2010. The package includes accommodation in a Vital Place room, a dim sum cooking class with the hotel’s internationally recognised chef, Tsang Chiu King, and a tour through the nearby Mong Kok markets. Buffet breakfast and wireless internet access are also included. Additional nights are US$127 per person.
DAY PACKAGES
SkyCity Marriott has new upgrade options for packages based around red, black and white, and green-coloured themes. For US$10 per person, delegates can enjoy a customised menu that incorporates the chosen colour theme. Half-day meeting packages are US$40 per person or US$55 for a full-day package, both for a minimum of ten people.
This includes choice of Chinese set lunch or international buffet lunch at SkyCity bistro Equipment includes LCD projector and screen, DVD player, PA system, podium, stage and stationery.
Grand Hyatt has full-day meeting packages for US$84 per person during September, inclusive of two coffee breaks and lunch. The hotel’s Take Advantage Take 2 offer adds value for groups of 20 rooms or more.
Organisers can choose two benefits for delegates from Grand Café Breakfast Buffet, non-alcoholic mini-bar drinks, guestroom or function room internet access, three-hour coach hire, round trip limousine transfers for VIPs, round trip airport transfers by coach for the entire group, meeting room audiovisual equipment and a 90-minute cocktail reception at Club JJ’s.
A six per cent rebate is available for groups meeting at the hotel before March 2010. Groups holding a second meeting at the hotel before the end of the year will receive a US$645 voucher for redemption on any hotel service.
