KUALA LUMPUR CONVENTION CENTRE (THE CENTRE)
As part of the 40-hectare KLCC Park, the Centre offers total event planning facilities, including conceptualising themes and event execution. The Centre offers 9,700 sqm of exhibition space, a plenary hall that seats 3,000 over two levels and a grand ballroom that seats 2,000 for banquets.
The Centre also has its TenOnCall facility, which is a popular meeting package for small to medium-sized groups that combines meetings with a centralised, informal all-day dining option outside the function rooms.
Green initiatives The Centre was the first in Asia to achieve Green Globe Benchmarking, being first awarded Bronze Status in 2007 and again in 2008.
Nearby hotels Within a ten-minute radius is the Mandarin Oriental’s 643 rooms and suites, 571 rooms at the Traders Hotel (which is directly connected to the Centre), the 473-room Hotel Nikko and the 563-room Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur. Soon to open are the Grand Hyatt Hotel (2012) and Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur (2013).

PUTRAJAYA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTRE
The centrally located Putrajaya International Conference Centre (PICC) has views over the lake and city of Kuala Lumpur. A total of 135,000 sqm of space spreads over nine levels, including the Heads of State Hall, a space of 520 sqm with circular seating for 59 heads of state, 121 advisors, rooms for bodyguards and reporters, and eight interpreter rooms.
The plenary hall offers 4,000 sqm, two royal boxes, interpreter rooms and two public viewing galleries. Perdana Hall can accommodate 2,000 for a banquet and 5,000 for a cocktail event or ceremony, and includes five-star kitchen facilities.
There are several smaller halls, meeting rooms and a VIP lounge area. Two restaurants include seating for more than 600 at a time, with an additional 200 on outside terraces.
Distance to airport Located between Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang and downtown Kuala Lumpur, both 25 minutes drive from PICC. Express Rail Link connects KLIA and the city centre, with a stop at Putrajaya.
