Venetian Macau has launched a campaign to highlight its new approach to events. Planners can now request anything and be assured the hotel will accommodate it.

Michael Chiay, director, Ovation Hong Kong – Macau, says: “The Venetian is now exercising flexibility in accommodating the needs of corporate groups and is no longer a challenging venue for Asian meeting planners. It is one of the top choices I recommend for my clients’ events in Macau. This paradigm shift in both mindset and operations will hit all the right notes with meeting planners and corporate groups.”

Groups booking ten or more rooms now receive upgrades to Rialto Suites, internet access and a 50 per cent discount on a one-hour cocktail reception.

StarWorld is an attractive option for regional groups. “StarWorld is good value for money in a great location,” says Bruno Simoes, CEO of DOC DMC Macau. “The hotel is particularly appealing to Asian clients, incentive groups and medium-sized meetings of up to 400 people. “The ballroom has natural light and we appreciate their flexibility and adaptability.”

The newest property on the Cotai Strip is City of Dreams, a mixed-use complex featuring Crown Towers, Hard Rock Hotel and the soon to open Grand Hyatt Macau.
