The latest addition to the eclectic Bugis precinct is Iluma, an architecturally striking collection of arts, entertainment and retail outlets. Sporting a unique façade, Iluma has soft-opened with new-to-market food and entertainment concepts and event areas.

Tornado is Singapore’s first urban combined videogaming, F&B and entertainment centre comprising seven outlets at the top floor, level 7. It has the largest cyber-gaming arena with 25m wide screen and is suitable for parties and corporate events. These range from booking the whole videogame arcade for an interactive and fun cohesion session, to a product launch or al fresco meeting at Bounce followed by a lavish buffet spread prepared by a celebrity chef.

K-Suites presents a sophisticated karaoke facility of almost 600 sqm. There are 34 individually themed singing suites and a lobby with an island bar and large TV sets screening sports and fashion. Guests can also play pool and use the gaming consoles or internet terminals lining the corridor. Full catering services are available with customised menus.

Filmgarde Cineplex houses eight halls seating from 100 people to more than 300. Equipped with the latest sound technology and digital 3D capabilities, it can be hired for small screenings and functions or large-scale movie showcases and events taking its entire 1,380 seats.

Iluma’s Black Box on the rooftop is still being outfitted but when completed end-August, it will be a 1,000-sqm flexible performance and event space for various business and entertainment events.
