The 222-room Fairmont Beijing is due to open in east Beijing in late July and should quickly establish itself as one of the city’s most highly regarded properties for smaller, high-end groups. Its largest meeting space will be able to hold up to 200 delegates. The hotels’ gold theme is evident throughout and groups staying here will also have access to the members’ club and theatre that is also part of the complex.

Another high-end offering is the new Summit Wing opening later this year as part of the China World Trade Centre complex. The hotel will be located on the 56th to 69th floors of the new China World Tower. Its 278 rooms will start from 60 sqm – the largest in town – and the hotel will also feature 12 meeting rooms and an observation deck.
