What are your main markets?
Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China.
How many staff do you have?
We have five core staff, which can climb to 30 for larger events. Events with big performance elements tend to require certain specialist expertise so we hire these people from around the world on a project-by-project basis.
What sort of events do you specialise in?
ISL specialises in live entertainment and concerts, and corporate and incentive events requiring creative concepts and technical production. Our expertise is in artist procurement; stage and show, technical, logistic and financial management; and also F&B management.
What is the best event you have ever done?
We organised the 2000 CLSA event at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and brought out Tom Jones to perform. The huge event (there were 2,000 guests) is a much-anticipated night on the finance industry social calendar. Tom was fantastic and really got the crowd going.
Name some other recent clients.
Ernst & Young, Baker McKenzie, GM and Astro.
