SINGAPORE Three major international business events have been clinched by Singapore for 2010 through 2012.

The International Conference on Emergency Medicine (ICEM) will be held from June 9 to 12, 2010. It will be the event’s first time in Asia since its biennial conferences began in 1986. More than 2,000 emergency room professionals are expected to attend the lectures, symposia and panel discussions at Suntec Singapore.

Professor V Anantharaman, chairman of the ICEM Organising Committee, said: “Singapore was selected because of its excellent business location, geographical accessibility, original approach to scientific content, exceptional conference facilities and the invaluable support from various organisations, including the Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau.” 

IFAI Expo Asia 2011, the inaugural Asian edition of the Industrial Fabric Association International’s trade show in the US, will take place at Marina Bay Sands from March 23 to 25, 2011. IFAI Expo Asia 2011 is expected to attract 100 exhibitors  from Asia, including South Korea, China and Australia. 

In 2012, the World Conference on Tobacco or Health (WCTOH) will hold its 15th conference for the first time in Singapore. More than 2,000 experts are expected to attend.
