The Peninsula Spa has teamed up with international spa consultancy Espa to offer guests a full-service spa experience which fuses Thai, Ayurvedic and European therapies.

They say…"The Peninsula Spa is somewhere delegates can really take the time they need to unwind. After meeting us, walk through the gardens to the airy, three-floor colonial style Thai building, which overlooks the pool and the Chao Phraya River, before starting individual treatments."

Details…The spa has 12 treatment rooms and four suites, as well as a Tea Lounge and relaxation rooms. A 50-minute Thai, Balinese, Aromatherapy or Swedish massage costs US$75.

ORIENTAL SPA, THE ORIENTAL BANGKOK

The historic hotel opened the first spa in Bangkok in a teak Thai house right next door to the Oriental Thai Cooking School. More than 50 treatments cover anything delegates could want, drawing on 2,000-year-old herbal techniques and high-end hydrotherapy treatments. Book groups in for a half, full-day or an indulgent three-day programme of massages, facials and wraps.

They say…"The Oriental Spa sets the standards for wellness and healing. Fourteen suites and effective treatments are found in the luxurious Thai teak house that is alongside the Chao Phraya River."

Details…The spa has 14 treatment rooms and can cater for up to 22 people at one time. A one-hour massage costs US$85.

BANYAN TREE SPA, BANYAN TREE BANGKOK

The basics…The Banyan Tree Spa is a true sanctuary for the senses. Perched high above the city, it’s an ideal place for physical and mental renewal.

They say…"When creating the treatments for each spa, a strong emphasis is placed on the use of local products and ingredients to give our spa guests a ‘sense of place’."

Details… Up to 26 delegates in 16 treatment rooms. These include: three Grand Spa rooms with rain mist facilities, four deluxe, three double and six single spa rooms. Harmony Banyan is a three-hour treatment package priced at US$290. Another three-hour package, Royal Banyan, costs US$230.
